Eight operating and emerging Audubon Centers are working together to increase coordinated educational activities in support of Audubon's major conservation goals along the Mississippi. The centers are within or near some of Audubon's Conservation Action Sites, large landscapes where we are focusing our efforts to protect birds and their habitats, improve water quality, and restore ecologically important river functions. More than 100 chapters of volunteer members also operate within the watershed.
